We wanted to share some more facts with you, but this time the facts are not about food webs. They are about our project and us! Making this web page has been so fun but was also a lot of work. Before we ever got on Microsoft Frontpage, we had to do a lot of research and a lot of writing. We used the Internet, of course, but we also used encyclopedias, nonfiction books about food webs, and our science textbook. We went through the research process where we learned about citing sources and giving credit where credit was due. We learned about taking notes and paraphrasing. We also went through the writing process where we wrote rough drafts, revised, edited, and revised again until we had our papers ready to publish on our web pages. This project taught us a lot, and we are very proud of our finished pages. We hope you learn a lot through our web site about food webs, especially you fellow 4th graders out there! :o)

     Now here is some more information about each of us:

Sara:

     "Hey! My name is Sara. I'm in the 4th grade and go to SWLE. I'm 9 years old. My favorite hobby is softball. I'm the second baseman. I have a dog named Chancey. My favorite subject is of course science. My favorite thing about PROMOTE was finding cool pictures. I hope you go to my page about producers!"

Tucker:

     "What's up? My name is Tucker. I'm ten. My favorite hobby is playing the piano and cooking. My favorite subject is Social Studies. My favorite thing on PROMOTE was finding games, gathering information, and typing my page. I also had fun being the voice of Spinner on our introduction video."

Logan:

     "Hi! I'm Logan. I am ten years old. I go to Southwest Laurens Elementary. My favorite thing about PROMOTE was searching for links. I like to play soccer, go swimming, and do gymnastics. I have three dogs Chief, Girdy, and Daisy. I have three fish, LuLu, Bubba, and Cute. They are called those names because that is our nicknames. By our nicknames, I mean me, Grayson, and Kaylee."

Sadie:

     "What's up? My name is Mercedes. I'm ten years old. My nickname is Sadie. I go to SWLE. My favorite TV show is the Secret Saturdays. I have a sister named Trinity. She is six. My favorite game is Sonic Rush. My most favorite thing is being funny and crazy. My favorite songs are Around Me Flyleaf and Shake It, Meo Station. My part in the web page is Predator and Prey. Nicholas:

     "Hi! My name is Nicholas. My favorite thing to do is play baseball and football. My favorite show is Pinks - ALL OUT. My favorite subject in school is math."

Noah:

     "Hi! My name is Noah. I like frogs and turtles. Science is my favorite subject. I'm in the 4th grade at school. I liked putting the pictures on PROMOTE pages."

Blake:

     "Sup! My name is Blake. I'm a game freak. My favorite games are war games. My favorite sport is football. I like my whole family. I'm grateful for what I have."
