Welcome to our page where we get to tell you, our web visitors, a little about our project and us! We had a lot of fun making these web pages, but we also did a lot of "behind the scenes" work. After choosing our topics, we had to research them. We looked in our science book, other nonfiction books, encyclopedias, and the Internet. We took notes and learned about paraphrasing and how we had to have a bibliography to show where we got our ideas. When we finally were able to write our rough drafts, we had to revise and edit them until they were JUST RIGHT! Finally, we were able to publish them for you to see right here on the Internet. The rest of what we did is pretty obvious to see for yourself: standards, pictures, links, games, quizzes, Photostory, and the list goes on. We are very proud of how our finished product turned out, and we learned a lot in the process. Now we hope you enjoy viewing it as much as we enjoyed creating and putting it together.

Brittany R:

     "Hi, my name is Brittany. I designed our mascot, Spinner. I also am the voice of Spinner on our introduction photostory. My favorite part about PROMOTE was going to different web sites and looking for links and games. Some of my favorite hobbies are soccer, softball, and drawing. I am best at soccer. I am ten years old and I go to SWLE. My favorite subject is science. Now you know more about me."

Cole:

     "What's up!? My name is Cole. I am ten years old and in the 4th grade. I love sports. My favorite food is steak and fruit. I have a dog named Rocky. Rocky tears a lot of stuff up. My favorite place to go is Wild Adventures. My favorite place is my house. I'm done. Good day!"

Evan:

     "I am 9 years old. My favorite hobby is school work. School work is of course my favorite thing about school. Putting the pictures on the web page was really fun when we did PROMOTE. I also like playing video games."

Austin:

     "Hi! My name is Austin. I am ten years old. My favorite hobby is riding dirt bikes and reading books. My favorite thing about PROMOTE is looking up information. I love to read. My favorite thing about school is rotation when we go to PE, computer lab, art, and music."

Peyton:

     "Hi! I'm Peyton, and I want you to know a little about me. I 'm very sweet unless I'm a little upset. I really hope you enjoyed my page about evaporation."

Christopher:

     "What's up?! My name is Chris. I'm ten years old. I am a game freak for Xbox 360's. My favorite game for it are all the Halo's. I love football, baseball, and basketball. I love my school. Its name is Southwest Laurens Elementary. My favorite thing in school is lunch. Oh, yeah, I'm also scared of clowns. My favorite part of PROMOTE is getting animations for my page.
